P2V Conversion failed at 60 %
Issue: Recently, one of my customer contacted me for P2V conversion issue. P2V conversion failed at 60 %. Trying to convert Windows Server 2003 SP2 BlackBerry server on Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter Hyper-V Virtual Machine.
Error (2944)
"VMM is unable to complete the requested operation because the server name %ServerName; could not be resolved. Try the operation again. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator.�

Cause: Physical host was not able to resolve FQDN server name of VMM host.
Resolution: Found VMM server DNS record is missing in DNS server. Updated the DNS record and able to perform P2V.
