In Azure Site Recovery (ASR), customers have a powerful Azure-based service that provides disaster recovery capabilities by orchestrating replication, failover, and recovery of virtual machines. In part-one of this series we will cover business continuity concepts and challenges that can arise in these scenarios.

Part 2: Azure Backup Fundamentals Help your customers protect critical data with Azure Backup, enabling your business to grow by selling cloud services to your customers. By utilizing Azure Backup, you can help customers protect server data against loss and corruption by facilitating scalable, secure backup to offsite cloud storage in Azure. In part-two of this series you will be introduced to the Hybrid Cloud Vision, BC/DR Models, Azure Backup Scenarios and Pricing.

Part 3: Azure Site Recovery Fundamentals In Azure Site Recovery (ASR), customers have a powerful Azure-based service that provides disaster recovery capabilities by orchestrating replication, failover, and recovery of virtual machines. Azure Site Recovery supports a number of replication technologies to consistently replicate, protect, and seamlessly failover virtual machines and applications to private/public or hosted clouds. Together these technologies form the foundation of what Microsoft calls “availability on-demand”, allowing you to help customers protect critical applications with flexible recovery plans and low RPOs/RTOs. Part-three of this series provides an overview of Azure Site Recovery and Fundamentals with demos showing ASR based protection, configuration and failover. We also touch on ASR pricing and assessment.
