Learning Opportunity: Integrating Audio and Video in Windows 8 Apps

Have you ever wanted to talk in-depth with an expert from Microsoft about integrating Audio and Video into your Windows Store app? For our partners we’re making a limited opportunity available to do just that. On March 27th, 2013 from 10am-12pm PST we’ll be hosting a live chalk talk with technical experts from our support teams discussing: Entertainment, Impact and More: Integrating Audio and Video into your Windows Store App. Once registered you will receive information on how to submit your questions before the chalk talk. If you are interested, sign up today as space is limited in order to allow for quality discussion. Registration will close March 24th.

Not sure if you should attend? Partners who have experience working with integrated media and have questions about implementing, proper usage, troubleshooting, or real-life examples to talk about will find this a valuable use of time. You should also be willing to ask questions during the session as this will be an interactive and not strictly a presentation.

Join James Dailey, a Sr. Escalation Engineer, from Microsoft support for a deep dive into the world of Windows 8 application Development. James will focus on answering your questions about
Media. We’ll look at live demos of real-world scenarios, how the technology works, best practices for implementation, and development troubleshooting tips. Media topics covered will include:

  • Tour of platform media options
  • Tour of streaming media options
  • Tour of platform media extensibility options

Participants will be invited via email to submit questions, scenarios, and even code samples before the session begins.
These will be used by the instructor for real-time training. Instructions for sending questions will be sent via email.
