Windows Server “8” and Cloud Computing

We talk a lot about the core architectural principles, concepts and patterns that go into creating a private cloud that enable you to take advantage of the key capabilities that cloud offers over a conventional datacenter.

These capabilities are enabled by a strong and robust software foundation. That foundation needs to make possible the abstraction required to support the decoupling of software and hardware required for mobile workloads. You also need a platform that fully calls out the critical cloud principle of multi-tenancy.

To learn more about what Windows Server “8” beta provides for cloud computing and more, check out Bill Laing’s post Windows Server “8” Beta Available Now!
