This overview will show how the SC products can work together and the opportunities it can provide.

Description: Operations Manager 2012 provides infrastructure monitoring that is flexible and cost-effective, helps to ensure the predictable performance and availability of vital applications, and offers comprehensive monitoring for your datacenter and cloud, both private and public.

SC 2012 Orchestrator

Description: The new System Center product Orchestrator 2012 is a workflow management solution for the data center. It lets you automate the creation, monitoring, and deployment of resources in your environment, including non-Microsoft environments.

SC 2012 Configuration Manager

Description: Configuration Manager 2012 provides a comprehensive solution for change and configuration of management for the Microsoft platform. SC 2012 Configuration Manager lets you perform tasks like; deploy, monitor and remediate. You can use Configuration Manager to manage a wide range of Microsoft operating systems, including client platforms, server platforms, and mobile devices.

SC 2012 Service Manager

Date and time: 27-Sept-2012 – 10:00-11:00

Description: Service Manager 2012 provides an integrated platform for automating and adapting your organization’s IT service management best practices, such as those found in Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). It provides built-in processes for incident and problem resolution, change control, and asset lifecycle management.

SC 2012 Datacenter and Client Optimized Management

Date and time: 27-Sept-2012 – 11:00-12:00

Description: Data Protection Manager 2012 enables disk-based and tape-based data protection and recovery for servers such as SQL Server, Exchange Server, SharePoint, virtual servers, file servers, and support for Windows desktops and laptops. DPM can also centrally manage system state and Bare Metal Recovery (BMR).

SC 2012 Forefront Endpoint Protection

Description: Endpoint Protection 2012 is integrated in SCCM and provides an antimalware and security solution for the Microsoft platform. It provides a comprehensive enterprise management solution that lets you Centrally deploy and configure the Endpoint Protection client.
