Small Business Server 2011 – 6 hour Momentum Workshop
Microsoft Partner Technical Services have the pleasure to announce this 6 sessions workshop about Small Business Server 2011.
There are 3 versions of the Solution Servers called Microsoft Small Business Server 2011. The SBS 2011 Essentials provides basic solutions for PCs, users, file/printer, intranet and Office 365 integration. The SBS 2011 Standard is a state-of-the-art Domain Controller with configured Exchange Server 2010, SharePoint Foundation and more. The SBS 2011 Premium Add-on provides SQL Server 2008 and is set up for Virtualization with Hyper-V and RDS. Take the opportunity to learn about them in the live presentations and demonstrations.
Part 1. Introduction and Installation of Windows Small Business Servers 2011

Description: Small Business Server has always been user and operator friendly. Installing is easy, so is configuration of the Domain too. In this introduction we will show the very basics of the SBS 2011 versions, their environments and how-to install new SBS Domains.
Part 2. Migration From Windows Small Business Server 2003 to SBS 2011 Standard

Description: Most customers have an IT infrastructure in advance. Therefor some migration might be needed for the Domain Controller, Exchange, SharePoint and more. In this session we will go into the SBS 2011 migration processes in details.
Part 3. Securing, Monitoring and Troubleshooting SBS 2011 Standard
Date and time: 28-March-2012, 11:00-12:00
Description: Security and High Availability are key objectives for the Small Business Servers. In this session we go further into the use of monitoring and troubleshooting issues with backup, network, protections and availability.
Part 4. SBS 2011 Essentials and Office 365 Integration
Date and time: 28-March-2012, 13:00-14:00
Description: SBS 2011 Essentials can have an Add-in for Office 365 integration with Cloud services, including Exchange On-Line. In this session we will take a deep dive into the options and challenges.
Part 5. SBS 2011 Standard Administration, Management & Remote Desktop Workspace
Date and time: 28-March-2012, 14:00-15:00
Description: SBS is configured for small businesses needs and have therefor consoles designed for easy administration and management of advanced tasks. In this session we will go through these consoles step-by-step to ensure proper handling of the users, clients, infrastructure as well as the servers themselves, including configurations of the SharePoint part called RDW.
Part 6. SBS 2011 Premium Add-On – Installation, Integration and Virtualization
Date and time: 28-March-2012, 15:00-16:00
Description: SBS 2011 Premium Add-on is configured for virtualization of servers, clients and applications. It provides roles to make highly dynamic infrastructures for virtual migration, consolidation and even testing. In this session we will demonstrate how-to use Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services and SQL for Line Of Business applications.
