INVITATION Upgrade Cycle for SharePoint 2010

Dear Partner, Microsoft Technical Pre-Sales and Advisory Services has the pleasure to announce these 4 web seminars that, taken together, provides you with an understanding of the upgrade cycle that you have to do for SharePoint 2010.

Introduction This Partner Readiness Web Seminar is a Microsoft Partner Network and Partner Technical Services initiative. The purpose of this program is to educate our partners about the value of Microsoft's solutions so that our partners can increase product awareness and thereby create new opportunities that increase customer satisfaction.

Do you want to know more about the upgrade cycle for SharePoint?

The objectives here are we're going to go through the prerequisites and the upgrade paths, talk about the different databases that are upgradeable, methods we might look at with those. And then we're going to hopefully help you make the decision around what the correct upgrade method might be for you.  And finally, we'll kind of harp on those nice improvements we've gotten in the upgrade stack to make this a much more enjoyable experience for you.

There will be shown small demos throughout the 4 webinars.

And then finally, at the end we're going to talk about validating, both validating your new content and the results of the upgrade, but also working a little bit with the users to make sure that they're on board with the new features in SharePoint 2010.
