Clarifying Windows OS Support and Configuration Manager 2007

Update: I just realized I posted this to the OpsMgr blog instead of the ConfigMgr blog so you'll find this same post there as well. But then everyone running OpsMgr wants to know this info too, right? Sorry about the confusion.

imageOver on the System Center blog Jeff Wettlaufer just posted a great piece that clears up some of the apparent confusion that exists surrounding our recent announcements concerning Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 and Windows 7/Windows Server 2008 R2 support.  Specifically, we’ve had some questions about what SP2 offers given we have stated in the past that SP2 was the only supported release and Jeff does a great job of clearing this all up:
