Two new KBs this week: One on OpsMgr 2007 and the other on System Center Essentials

We had two new Knowledge Base articles last week on System Center Operations Manager 2007 and System Center Essentials 2007 Service Pack 1.  The KB on OpsMgr 2007 involves and issue where a Root Management Server, a Management Server, a Gateway Server or an Agent may appear dimmed and you also see Event ID 623 logged:

KB975057 - One or more management servers and their managed devices are dimmed in the Operations Manager Console of Operations Manager 2007

The KB for System Center Essentials involves some issues you may run into when installing SCE 2007 SP1 on a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008.  It also lists the supported scenarios for installing SP1:

KB975344 - When you install System Center Essentials 2007 Service Pack 1 on an x64 Edition of Windows Server 2008, no options on the System Center Database page of the installation wizard are enabled
