Dropbox Support Added to Windows Azure Web Sites

Windows Azure Web Sites allows you to quickly deploy sites with support for multiple frameworks and popular open source applications to a highly scalable cloud environment. The recent updates to Windows Azure added Dropbox to the many options for publishing with Windows Azure Web Sites, providing more choice and flexibility for users.

Dropbox is a free service that makes it easy to share your files between multiple computers. Now you can simply copy files to a local Dropbox folder and with a few clicks your web site is live on Windows Azure. The Windows Azure Web Sites service is great for businesses and organizations that want the flexibility to start small for free and scale as traffic grows. The majority of platforms and frameworks included in the Windows Azure SDK are supported, so you can build with .NET, PHP, or Node.js and then deploy in mere seconds with Team Foundation Service, GitHub, CodePlex, and now Dropbox.

Popular open source applications, including WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Umbraco and DotNetNuke, are also supported, easily integrating with Windows Azure services like SQL Database, Caching, CDN and Storage.
