With Skype continuing to gain popularity for voice, video and instant messaging services, Skype engineers are hard at work to enhance the experience across a range of platforms and devices – desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and even TVs. Earlier this week, the Skype team announced updates specifically for iPhone and iPad Skype users, making the service easier to use on-the-go, including:

  • Photo sharing (with no photo size limit)
  • Improved startup times
  • Faster loading of contact lists
