Opalis Quick Fix: Opening the Operator Console fails with "No Operator Console URL configured"

toolsignThis one’s really more of a tip that you need to configure the URL in the Opalis Integration Server – Client Console before you can use the Operator Console button, but just in case you forget and see the "No Operator Console URL configured" error then here’s where you set that up:

=====

Symptoms

You have installed the Operator Console according to the Opalis Integration Server Administrator Guide, however when you choose the Operation Console button in the Opalis Integration Server – Client Console you get the following message:

No Operator Console URL configured

However when you start the Console when using Start -> All Programs -> Opalis Software -> Opalis Integration Server -> Operator Console, the Operator Console starts normally.

Cause

The Operator Console URL has not been configured and is blank by default.

Resolution

You need to configure the URL in the Opalis Integration Server – Client Console before you can use the button. To configure, choose Options -> Operator Console.

In the URL box fill in the URL you find when starting the Operator Console using Start -> All Programs -> Opalis Software -> Opalis Integration Server -> Operator Console. For example if the Console on the Localhost then you would use https://localhost:5413.
