Microsoft Outlook Configuration Analyzer Tool (OCAT) v2 released

As the original blog post about OCAT release was quite popular, we wanted to let you know that we have just released the version 2.0 of the tool, with many features that you have been asking for!

If you have OCAT v1 installed, the installation of OCAT v2 will automatically remove v1 for you.

Here are the key features added in OCAT version 2:

  • Automatic downloading of new detection rules

As we create new rules to detect issues or to collect additional information about your Outlook profile, we will post a new updated rule file to the Internet. With the default OCAT version 2 configuration, OCAT will automatically check for a new rule file and prompt you to update OCAT if a new file is found.

  • Automatic downloading of OCAT installation files
