DevDays Asia @ Taipei presents the latest technology from Microsoft Data Platform, Office, and Open Specifications. In addition, DevDays Asia will host a hackathon where attendees can participate in the Data Platform or Productivity category and compete to win prizes like a Surface Pro 4, Visual Studio Enterprise, or an Office 365 Home one-year subscription.

The Data Platform track will focus on data developer opportunities using advanced analytics, big data, machine learning techniques & APIs, PowerBI, and SQL Server. The Productivity track will focus on Microsoft Office developer opportunities and developer tools such as Office Add-ins, Office Graph API, Office UI Fabric, and the O365 Developer Program. The Open Specifications track is available to all attendees, regardless of if registered for Data Platform or Productivity tracks. The Open Specifications provides attendees an in depth understanding of Microsoft's interoperability practices including: test tools, protocols, and file sharing.

The hackathon, known as the HAOckathon (Hackathon + A for Analytical + O for Open) and is based on positive social impact. Contestants will get the chance to utilize latest technologies to promote social welfare with the opportunity to win amazing prizes.
