April 2014 Office Update Release

Update: Users may see issues with unresolved file conflicts and merging errors when using SharePoint and/or OneDrive for Business files. The April PU contains important fixes to help resolve these syncing issues and allow your users’ files to resume syncing normally. Please install this latest update as soon as possible.

If you are running Office 2013 Click-to-Run, you can follow these steps to verify that you are on the April 2014 release or later or update if necessary.

If you are running Office 2013 using Microsoft Installer then you can visit Microsoft Update to install the latest Office updates.

If you are unsure which version of Office 2013 that you are running, follow these steps:

1. Open any Office application

2. Click on the File tab

3. Click on Account (Office Account in Outlook)

If you have click-to-run installed then you will see “Office Updates” under “Product Information”.

If you have Office installed with Microsoft Installer then you will see “Product Activation” under “Product Information”.

The April 2014 Public Update release for Office is now live. There are 13 security updates (2 bulletins) and 28 non-security updates.
