Tech·Ed Europe Returns to Berlin, Day 1

Thank you for joining us in Berlin for Tech·Ed Europe 2010.  Monday was an amazing day as 6000 attendees attended pre-conference sessions, and the keynote with Microsoft Corporate Vice President Brad Anderson, talking about cloud computing and IT as a service (PaaS, SaaS and IaaS).  If you missed it you can see it on

After the keynote address, attendees walked over to the Technical Learning Centre to get their first chance to talk with the folks at their product booths.   The Office Client booth was very popular, with atttendees asking more about deployment and end user training, rather than what Office 2010 could do for them.  It was very positive to see how many people have planned or have already deployed Office 2010 in their environments and test environments.

To highlight some of the questions from today:

1) You can find Technical Diagrams to aid you with your deployment planning via  There are models on Virtualization (Overview, App-V, Mobile), Deployment Options, 64-bit client installation, Multilanguage Packs, and Volume Activation.   Copies are still available at the booth if you would like the letter page size.

2) You can find User Readiness and Training resources on our resource centre via to help build awareness and train users with items like the Interactive Guides, and Home Use Program.

Just in case you didnt get one of our t-shirts today, dont forget this one address: OFFICEITPRO.COM

See you tomorrow!
