Closing out 2009 sure proved to be a busy time in the System Center world.  We held our local New York MMS event on 12/1 with great representation from our customers, partners, and corporate teams.  Registration for the “real” MMS 2010 opened up, Microsoft acquired Opalis Software, the System Center catalog was improved and consolidated to make it easier to find extensions, and the Cross Platform ACS features were introduced.

Now, as we move into 2010, I’m hoping to bring a bit more structure and provide a monthly summary of news, notables, and interesting posts I’ve come across.  For starters, I will be presenting at the monthly meeting (January 7, 2010) of the New York Enterprise Windows User Group about System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 and the new capabilities that has brought, so visit the site to register and join us.
