Made in New Zealand (out 'west' in Waitakere to be exact)  These are the guys that won first place in Microsoft’s ‘Does Your App Think In Ink’ contest for Tablet PC applications (2004).

 

ArtRage 2.0 is a fun and easy to use painting tool for Windows and Mac OSX that lets you play with realistic paints on your computer. You can create your own paintings from nothing, load in photos and recreate them with oil paints, pencils, felt pens, or any of the other tools ArtRage has to offer. You can experiment with metallic paint for gold leafing, sprinkle shiny glitter, fill in large areas with the paint roller, and generally paint, smudge, and smear your way to your very own masterpiece.

This new version of ArtRage comes in two versions. The Full Edition gives you all the new features, including four new tools, layers, metal paints, and much more for only $19.95US. Because of the support we received for ArtRage 1 we wanted to make a Free Edition as well that gives you all the tools ArtRage 1 had, with speed and tablet enhancements, and a few new things thrown in for good measure.
