In this post and on the June 27 Open Source Solutions (OSS) partner call, I will discuss Microsoft Inspire and OSS training resources.
Microsoft Inspire 2017
Microsoft Inspire is my favorite conference. I like the fact that it is completely focused on the partner ecosystem, and that it is the place where Microsoft first unveils our go-to-market strategy for the next fiscal year (FY18), which begins July 2017. If you are going to Inspire and would like to learn more about building your Open Source business, there are many sessions you can attend. I reviewed the list of sessions available at this year’s event and selected the ones that I consider the best fit for Open Source Partners, the session details of which are given below.
Also, please take advantage of these great tips and tricks for planning your Inspire session.
Monday, July 10
Tuesday, July 11
Wednesday, July 12
Finally, at Inspire, you can find me at the US Lounge Monday through Wednesday. I’d be happy to spend time with you and discuss how you can grow your OSS practice. To set up a time, just stop by the US Lounge and ask to schedule an OSS on Azure Huddle.
Open Source training
I recently passed my MCSA: Cloud Platform exam and found the Partner Azure Study Group an incredible resource for preparing for the exam. I have put together a detailed list of my study resources specifically on Open Source Solutions and would like to share it with you. You can view the spreadsheet here. I hope you find these resources as useful as I did.
Open Source Solutions Partner Community
Learning about Open Source Solutions on the Microsoft platform can be an exciting journey. If you are learning a new part of the technology or building an entire practice, the OSS Partner community is here to help. If you have questions, feedback, or ideas, join the conversation in our Yammer group.
