Dynamics 365 Partner Community: First Look event and community call on October 11

Barb Borrowman - Technology Solutions Professional Dynamics 365

On October 11 at 2:30PM Eastern Time (11:30AM Pacific Time), you'll have the opportunity to get a first look at Microsoft Dynamics 365. Microsoft EVP Scott Guthrie will share the Microsoft strategy for digital transformation as he unveils this next generation of intelligent business applications that help organizations grow, adapt, and evolve.

Earlier that day, at 12:00PM Eastern Time (9:00AM Pacific Time), my colleagues and I are hosting a Dynamics 365 Partner Community call that will provide you with an update on licensing and pricing. In this post, I'll review the pricing and licensing resources and training that are available to you now to prepare for licensing and pricing discussions after October 11. For more details and a deeper look, you'll want to join the community call.

What’s the path to Dynamics365 learning for MPN cloud partners who are not MBS partners? All the resources are locked on MBS PartnerSource.

If you are interested in creating a Dynamics practice, we can connect you with someone on the partner recruit team to set up a training path. Please send me an email with your contact information - barbborr@microsoft.com. Thanks!

    Hello Barb,

How can a distributor gain access to the above documentation? Until now we never needed access to the Dynamics partner portal since we don't do actual deployments, but now that we will be distributing all new SKUs to partners we need some more information.

For instance, how does an existing CRM on-premises customer with SA transition to Dynamics 365? Do they purchase full new licenses or are they already entitled to the new SKUs and simply renew to Dynamics 365 SA when their coverage ends?
