I’m delighted to once again be part of the team that plans the US partner experience for the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. We have been meeting and working with the Worldwide Partner Group team that is responsible for WPC over the past few months, but our planning as the United States subsidiary begins in earnest now. We are enlisting participation for our planning team from across the US organization, and that team will be responsible for helping plan, shape, and execute the events and activities for US partners in July.
This year’s conference is in Washington, D.C., from July 13–17, and I’m heading there in February with colleagues from around the world to meet up with Kati Quigley and her WPC Experience Team. We were in Washington, D.C. for WPC 2010, and it is a wonderfully accessible and accommodating city for an event like WPC. I’m looking forward to touring the main conference space, the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, and spending time in other venues like hotels and restaurants to get a feel for the city and ideas for WPC 2014 events and activities for you, our US partners.
I hope you will plan to join the US Partner Team this July in Washington, D.C.—I look forward to seeing you there!
