A blog series for US partners by Jenni Flinders, Microsoft US Vice President, Partner Strategy and Programs.
Successful businesses today require a corporate culture and an accepting business environment where the best and brightest minds—employees with varied perspectives, skills, and experiences—work together to meet consumer demands. Microsoft recognizes that a diverse talent base enables partner organizations to achieve new levels of success.
With this in mind, I invite you to attend our event, People for Innovation: A Microsoft US Diversity and Inclusion Partner Networking Reception, during this year’s Worldwide Partner Conference, at the Grove Restaurant in Houston. At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to network with Microsoft US leadership and fellow partners, find inspiration in the stories you hear, and build your business through the relationships you make.
Jacky Wright, Vice President, Strategic Enterprise Services, and the most senior African American female leader at Microsoft, will be our special guest, to share her personal story and talk about how diversity and inclusion are part of the solution to the talent gap. Following the short speaker program, there will be plenty of time for networking and conversation, including special topic zones to help foster discussion on the diversity issues and opportunities that many of us are solving for in today’s competitive landscape.
The event will feature contemporary styling, music, and food, and take place on the tree house rooftop of The Grove restaurant, conveniently located walking distance from the George R. Brown Convention Center. I look forward to seeing you there!
Your Microsoft executive hosts for this event are Judson Althoff, President, Microsoft North America, and Jenni Flinders, Vice President, US Partner Strategy and Programs.
