Microsoft OMS workspaces now require an Azure subscription

This week we made some great announcements at Microsoft Ignite regarding Operations Management Suite (OMS) and new services that it is offering.

We have also made some changes to the way we license OMS and the pricing bundles. A further change is that we now also require the OMS workspaces to be linked to an Azure subscription. As a result, if you have been using a Free-Tier of OMS, when you now attempt to access your workspace, you will be presented with the following screenshot:

Link Azure subscription to OMS workspace

If you want  to continue to us your OMS workspace, you will now need to link it to an Azure subscription. You can use this dialog box to create a free trial subscription. If you no longer want to use the workspace and would like to close it and delete all of your workspace data, then select CLOSE WORKSPACE.
