Remote Desktop Client 7.0 KB979425 now available for Vista

KB979425 (A combo box item in a RemoteApp application is updated incorrectly when you connect by using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) 7.0) is now available for Vista.

RDC 7.0 ships in-box in Windows 7 and had this fix a while ago, but the OOB (“Out Of Band”) package for Vista now has an identical fix available for download from the KB article.

(At the time of writing the “applies to” section of the KB article does not mention Vista, but this should be updated soon.)

As for Windows XP, it is in extended support now so there will not be a port of the hotfix installer for RDC7 on this platform.
