In three short years, Future Decoded has become a key date in the UK tech calendar. Last year’s sold-out event welcomed 9,000 attendees across both business and technical audiences and had a social reach of 85 million. This year Future Decoded will be held at ExCeL London on 1-2nd November 2016.
At WPC, you heard a lot about Digital Transformation, and the opportunity this brings as customers are becoming more interested in using technology to change business outcomes. Our focus at Future Decoded 2016 will be centred around helping customers with this digital transformation.
As IT leaders, it’s your role to inspire customers, enabling them to see what is possible with Microsoft technology and your expertise, whilst helping them to implement this transformation within their business. It’s for that reason that we’re making some changes to Future Decoded this year, in line with your feedback, we are removing the partner-specific agenda from the event. This means that there will be no partner keynotes or sessions. You should, instead, attend the morning keynotes and general sessions with your customers which should give you more time to explore the expo area.
By removing the partner agenda, you now have the opportunity to accompany your customers at the event to show them what they can achieve with technology. You should therefore, invite your key customers to the event and take the opportunity to inspire and excite them with how you can help them to achieve and the positive impact this will have on their business.
We have already got some great speakers lined up for the two-day event – from news makers to business movers – all of whom will provide guidance and inspiration to show customers what is possible.
Future Decoded confirmed speakers include:
- Chris Messina, inventor of the hashtag and Developer Experience Lead for Uber
- Martine Wright, 7/7 survivor and Paralympic athlete
- Chris Bishop and Katja Hofman from the Machine Intelligence and Perception group at Microsoft Research in Cambridge
- Toni Townes-Whitley, Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector at Microsoft
