Maybe you are sitting in front of your last PC. MS has applied for a patent for a Desktop Smartphone - with a docking station for an external display, keyboard, mouse, etc. My 2 year old smartphone is not only more powerful than my first PC, but probably my first, second and third PC.

Next cool innovation - a high res projection display that can beam the smartphone display to any surface, and a virtual keyboard and trackpad to the desktop.
