Its probably old news now but WSS SP2 released! Heres what came in my email.

 

What’s new in Windows SharePoint Services Service Pack 2?

Windows SharePoint Services Service Pack 2 addresses top customer needs deployment needs, including:

  • Enablement of new advanced extranet and intranet scenarios
  • Support for Windows Server and XP x64 Editions and SQL Server 2005
  • Support for .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005

Windows Server R2

Windows Server R2 will ship with Windows SharePoint Services Service Pack 2. R2 will support a new Windows SharePoint Services server role as well as integration with Active Directory Federation Services.
