Medium Business Solution for Patch Management v 1.0
Today we released a new whitepaper on Patchmanagement. "This solution provides guidance that can be used to plan, build, deploy, and operate a mechanism for automatically deploying patches to computers in the environment using both Microsoft® and non-Microsoft applications and tools."
Microsoft Solutions for Small and Medium Business - Program Overview provides details of the following three solutions that make up the program:
- Peer-to-Peer Networking with Windows XP: Designed for a server-less environment with up to ten users.
- Small IT Solution: Designed as an entry level server-based solution for up to 50 users.
- Medium IT Solution: Designed as a flexible solution for an environment of up to 250 users.
The Medium IT Solution Series is designed for growing businesses that are progressively increasing the use of IT to empower employees and connect with customers. The solution series provides greater flexibility in terms of IT design and the number of supported users. The solution series is intended for medium-sized businesses with 50 to 250 users.
