Kurt Vonnegut has died. Brilliant fellow. In my hand I hold the tattered copy of Breakfast of Champions my buddy, Bill, lent me in 1997. In 1997 it had not yet been so abused. I should really return this.
What can I say? I loved the guy’s work, I’ve read much of it, but am embarrassed to admit I have not yet touched Slaughter House Five. I should do that.
Return Book. Read Slaughter House 5. Before I give myself any other tasks, let me give you my favorite Vonnegut quote and a link to more.
“The best jokes are dangerous and dangerous because they are, in some way, truthful.”–Kurt Vonnegut
