by

Michael J. Murphy,

Thursday, April 5, 2007

Abstract:

Drawn from the Best Of Windows Vista Launch Content, this discussion will focus on the security improvements that make Windows Vista so radically different from prior versions of the Windows OS. We’ll examine User Account Control, Bitlocker Drive Encryption and IE 7 in Protected Mode. Feature sets that, Out of the Box, make your network more secure from the vagaries of the always on, always connected world we live in today. Additionally, we’ll look at improvements to Group Policy that reduce administrative overhead, lowering total cost of ownership. Hope to see you there!
