EPA names the Top 50 green power purchasers in the U.S.

Earlier today the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released an updated list of the Top 50 purchasers on green power in the United States including clean, renewable electricity from solar, wind, and low-impact hydropower.

The top ten purchasers are:

  1. Intel
  2. Kohl’s Department Stores
  3. Microsoft
  4. Wal-Mart
  5. Whole Foods Market
  6. Staples
  7. City of Houston, TX
  8. Starbucks
  9. City of Austin, TX
  10. Hilton Worldwide.
