Der 3tägige Workshop „Microsoft Azure Site Recovery Services“ vermittelt  die Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten, die erforderlich sind, um erste Architektur, Design und Deployment Entscheidungen für den Einsatz von Microsoft Azure Site Recovery treffen zu können.

Agenda
Module 1: Introduction to Windows Azure Backup:
This module provides high level overview of Microsoft's cloud integrated backup solution that enables customers to back up their data present either on-premises or in Azure.

Module 2: ASR Technical Overview:
This module introduces the concept of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) and provides introduction to the Site Recovery Deployment Scenarios (Protection Groups, Recovery Plans, etc.)

Module 3: ASR – Hyper Scenarios:
This module discusses, demonstrates and provide hands on labs on deploying Site Recovery to replicate virtual machines located on on-premises Hyper-V servers running Windows Server 2012 R2 and Virtual Machine Manager Clouds.

Module 4: ASR – VMware Scenarios:
This module discusses, demonstrate and provide hands on labs on how to coordinate replication, failover, and recovery of on-premises VMware virtual machines and physical servers to Azure

Module 5: ASR - Troubleshooting:
This module provides steps to enables you to learn how to track the replication health and troubleshooting techniques for Azure Site Recovery.

Module 6: Disaster Recover as a Service:
In this module we discuss common workloads such as SharePoint, SQL, etc. and how to integrate these into a one click disaster recovery solution.

Zielgruppe
Dieser Workshop richtet sich an System Engineers, System Administratoren und Consultants, die bereits Erfahrung mit Virtualisierung-Plattform wie z.B. VMware oder Hyper-V haben.  Die Teilnehmer sollten ein Grundverständnis von Desaster Recovery z.B. von Recovery Point Objective (RPO) und Recovery Time Objective (RTO) haben.
