Der 3-tägige Office 365 Lync Online: Administration and Configuration Workshop deckt alle Konzepte der Administration des Lync Online Services und dessen Office 365 abhängigen Komponenten ab. Er deckt ebenfalls die notwendigen Schritte zur Konfiguration von Lync Online sowie Single Sign On mit Active Directory Federation Services und Active Directory Synchronization ab.

Nach dem Kurs haben die Teilnehmer folgenden Fähigkeiten erworben:

• Administration von Office 365 Admin Center, sowohl über das Portal als auch unter Verwendung von PowerShell
• Verständnis über die Ausführung der verschiedenen administrativen Aufgaben im Lync Admin Center
• Installieren und Konfigurieren von Active Directory Federation Services
• Installieren und Konfigurieren von Active Directory Synchronization
• Verständnis über die verschiedenen Clients, die mit Lync Online genutzt werden können

Module 1: Introduction to Office 365
This module covers an overview of the service, subscription plans and how to sign up for Office 365 for Enterprises

Module 2: Office 365 Management Interface
This module covers the Office 365 admin center as well as the Windows Azure Active Directory module for Windows PowerShell, used to manage Office 365

Module 3: User, Groups and Domains
This module covers management tasks associated with users, groups and domains both via the Office 365 admin center as well as via PowerShell

Module 4: : Introduction to Lync Online
This module covers an overview of the Lync Online service, including plans, and service details, client versions and system requirements as well as what’s new in Lync Online for Office 365 administrators.

Module 5: Overview of Clients for Lync Online
This module covers the various clients that can be used with Lync Online.

Module 6: Lync Online Administration
This module covers the administration of Lync users, provisioning options and reporting using the Lync Admin Center and PowerShell for Lync Online.

Module 7: Conferencing, Federation and PIC
This module covers the concepts behind Lync Conferencing, Federation and PIC.

Module 8: Active Directory Synchronization
This module covers the concepts and administration tasks related to Active Directory Synchronization in Office 365 as part of the Single Sign On and Hybrid requirements

Module 9: Single Sign-on
This module covers the concepts and administration tasks related to the Single Sign On (SSO) functionality of Office 365, including Domain Federation via ADFS

Module 10: Lync Online Tools and Troubleshooting
This module covers tools such as Snooper, network analysis tools and other common tools that can be used to troubleshoot issues.

Module 11: Lync Online Integration with Exchange
This module covers integration with Exchange through Exchange Web Services (EWS).

Module 12: Lync Online Hybrid Scenarios
This module covers hybrid scenarios, namely Split domain deployment for Lync and Lync integration with other O365 services such as Exchange Online.

Module 13: Voicemail in Exchange Online
This module covers voicemail in Exchange Online, features available and Hosted Exchange UM migration

Module 14: Client Sign-in and Provisioning
This module covers client sign-in process and provisioning.

Dieser Workshop richtet sich an IT Administratoren die sich Wissen über das Administrieren und Konfigurieren von Lync-Online als Bestandteil von Office 365 for Enterprise aneignen möchten. Der Workshop deckt auch Single Sign On und Active Directory Synchronization in Theorie und Übungen ab.
