Der dreitägige Workshop “ Windows Server 2012: Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) Base-Class” vermittelt den Kursteilnehmern einen Einstieg in das Thema Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) und leitet über in das Deployment von PKI-Hierarchien, unterstützt durch verschiedene Hands-on-Labs. Abgestimmt auf Windows Server 2012 stellt der Workshop die neuen Funktionen und Services unter ADCS 2012 vor.

Als Base-Class ist der Workshop der erste Teil einer Workshop-Reihe von insgesamt drei aufeinander aufbauenden Workshops (Base-, Advanced und Expert-Class)

Agenda

Modul 1: Introduction to PKI

  • An introduction to PKI
  • An introduction to Cryptography
  • Certificates and Certificate Stores
  • Certification Authority (CA) Design and Hierarchies

Modul 2: Certificate Revocation and Chain Building

  • How a certificate trust chain is established and verified against a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • How a certificate revocation information is used to validate certificates for users, computers and applications
  • Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) : Base and Delta (CRL’s)
  • Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)
  • Chain building and revocation checking

Modul 3: Deploy a Two-Tier PKI Hierarchy

  • Define CAPolicy.inf for root Certification Authority (CA) and subordinate CA
  • Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) PowerShell cmdlets
  • Install and configure offline root CA
  • Publish root CA certificate and CRL to CDP and AIA URLs
  • Install and configure subordinate CA
  • Post-install health checks

  • Certificate Templates

  • Configuration of templates
  • Enrollment methods

Modul 5: New Features in ADCS 2012
