Die neue Photosynth App ist ab sofort für mobile Geräte mit iOS wie iPhone 4, iPhone 3Gs, iPod Touch 4. Generation und iPad 2 mit iOS 4.1 oder älter verfügbar. Mithilfe dieser kostenlosen Software können große Panoramafotos und interaktive Panoramaaufnahmen auf mobilen Geräten erstellt und auf Microsoft Bing Maps und Facebook veröffentlich werden. Hervorzuheben ist unter anderem das Feature „Real-Time-Snapping“, das für nahtlose fotografische Aufnahmen auf dem iPhone sorgt. Für Windows Phone 7 wird die App mit dem Mango-Update verfügbar sein.
