Helping build Saudi Arabia’s future in the cloud

Posted by Abdulla Al Uzaib, Marketing & Communication Lead, Microsoft Arabia

In 2006, when Saudi Arabia had yet to embrace the cloud, co-founder of Virtual Vision (V2), Hazem Sandouka, had the foresight to see that this technology was the way of the future – and the company was born. Working with Microsoft, the company began by focusing on providing migration, implementation and consultation, while developing relationships to accelerate the business.

With its forward-thinking vision, V2’s move to the cloud is not only helping the company grow, but it’s also helping Saudi Arabia move forward in a mobile-first, cloud-first world.

The team’s expertise, along with their partnership with Microsoft, will see V2 opening a cloud datacentre for the country in 2016, which Sandouka believes will be one of the best products running in the market. The company really is an integral part of building Saudi Arabia’s future.
