Minecraft helps teach students about coding

One of the key ways to drive growth and opportunity for African youth is to equip them with the skills that allow them to innovate using technology. We believe coding is one of these skills, which is why we are once again partnering with Code.org for Hour of Code.

This year, the global campaign comes with a new twist to encourage more students to get to grips with the world of coding. We’ve worked with the developers of Minecraft to create a tutorial based on the popular game’s characters and environment. The aim is to de-mystify the basics of computer science in a fun way.
