Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 3 announced

Today Microsoft announced plans to release Service Pack 3 for Office 2007 and SharePoint Server 2007; it is expected to become available in Q4 2011.

SP3 contains a roll-up of all 2007 cumulative and public updates since Service Pack 2 for Office client suites and applications as well as SharePoint Servers.  It also includes updates for Project 2007 and Visio 2007, as well as downloads to 35 Office Language Interface Packs, including Farsi, Armenian and Bengali.

SP3 will be offered through the Microsoft Download Center as a manual download, and after 90 days will become an automatic update for Office 2007 customers.
