CIO Summit: Schools choose Live@edu

At the U.S. Public Sector CIO Summit, Microsoft announces the addition of 16 new government and education Live@edu customers, including Oregon’s Portland Public Schools, University at Albany - SUNY, Fashion Institute of Technology and Vanderbilt University.

With shrinking budgets, educational institutions are being asked to do more with less. Schools are choosing Live@edu’s e-mail, calendaring, collaboration, communications and web-based productivity services for its cost savings, security features and interoperability with existing technology investments. Live@edu is one of the most popular communication suites, serving more than 15 million people in more than 10,000 education institutions worldwide.
