The Guide, presented as a OneNote notebook, is a professional learning process guide for school leaders, head teachers, professional learning coaches, and teachers to collaborate in redesigning and transforming learning.
The Tools to Redesign Professional Conversations
In discussions with Microsoft Showcase Schools globally, we've seen a number of common themes and challenges. Many of the teachers in these schools are currently using the 21st Century Learning Design Learning Activity Rubrics to focus on adaptive capabilities or 21st century skills. The Microsoft 21st Century Professional Learning Conversation Guide is intended to bridge the gap between the work of teachers as learning designers and the work of instructional leaders.
The Guide is based on an Appreciative Inquiry approach, which intentionally seeks to uncover the strengths and successes within a teacher's practice, helping to make teaching profoundly personalized — and amplified by the appropriate use of technology.
