Join us June 27th and 28th for our COMPLIMENTARY 2-day Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer Academy

For K-12 trainers of teachers, participate in a 2-day hands-on learning designed to provide you the opportunity to bring Microsoft training to your schools and communities. Participants get in-depth training on Microsoft tools and apps including Office 365, OneNote, Skype in the Classroom, Office Mix, and Sway. Receive materials to redeliver for local training. By participating in the training receive a certificate for your participation. You will also have the opportunity to apply to be a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer. Attendees will also receive complimentary Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) and Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) exam vouchers to advance their professional development.

Join us June 28th for our COMPLIMENTARY 1-day OneNote Immersion for Educators Academy

  • This one day BYOD OneNote Immersion is designed for the K-12 classroom educators and give you the experience to become an OneNote empowered for your classroom. As part of this training, the course will conclude with a 90 minute OneNote Certification Prep session which will prepare you for your Microsoft Office Specialist OneNote certification (And during ISTE, Microsoft will be offering complimentary Microsoft Certification exams onsite).

PBL in Action with OneNote at Sammamish High School

Learn about Sammamish High School's journey to problem-based learning curriculum using OneNote and 1:1. Last Fall, students at this diverse, public school received a hybrid PC with OneNote Class Notebooks. This program facilitated student collaboration, increased opportunities for differentiation of instruction, and increased quality and quantity of feedback.

Minecraft for Teachers Workshops – Offered daily in Room 203A

Workshop #1 – Intro to Minecraft

Come learn about the game your students are all buzzing about! In this hands-on workshop designed by teachers, you'll walk away with a command of basic Minecraft gameplay and inspiration from amazing Minecraft projects created around the world! Facilitated by Stephen Reid from ImmersiveMinds. o prior experience is required. Seats are limited to the first 50 in attendance.

Workshop #2 – STEM and Coding with Minecraft

Come learn how Minecraft can be a fun, effective way to teach STEM and coding skills! In this hands-on workshop designed by teachers, you'll walk away with an understanding of Redstone, modding, and simple STEM lesson plans. Facilitated by Sarah Guthals from ThoughtSTEM. Basic Minecraft proficiency or completion of Workshop #1 is required. Seats are limited to the first 50 in attendance.
