Today, we are releasing updates to OneNote for iPhone that introduce note previews and notebook re-ordering; and OneNote for Mac that deliver enhanced notebook sharing features. In addition, we recently released an exciting update to the OneNote Clipper for Mac and Windows desktop.
OneNote for iPhone–note previews and notebook re-ordering
Note previews are especially handy when you are on the go and need to a find a specific note in a pinch. With a quick glance at your page list, or your Recent Notes list, you can scan snippets of your notes, including visual content like photos and handwriting, which helps you quickly locate the note you want to read or edit.
In addition to note previews, we’re also introducing another enhancement to notebook organization. If you have several notebooks on your iPhone and want to list them in a different order, you can now drag and drop to easily re-order your notebooks.
OneNote for Mac–notebook sharing enhancements
Whether it’s a vacation with family members, a group school assignment with classmates, or a work project with colleagues—OneNote is a fantastic tool for sharing and getting things done with others. With today’s update we make it even easier to share notebooks by providing you a way to invite your contacts to collaborate on notebooks, selecting whether they can view only or edit the notebooks and remove sharing access when needed. These improvements work with notebooks you created on OneDrive and OneDrive for Business.
In addition to these new capabilities we’ve also introduced bug fixes on iPhone, iPad and Mac clients—based on your ongoing feedback. As always, we really appreciate your ongoing feedback as it helps us continue to improve your OneNote experience. Let us know what you think on our feedback site.
