The fourth and final day of the Partners in Learning 2011 Global Forum is nearing its end. We will go on tonight to the Gala Awards Dinner at the National Portrait Gallery and 18 educators will receive Global Innovative Educators Awards. The week has been inspiring and fun. I was trying to figure out the best way to encapsulate the week in words, but it seems more fun to do so in pictures.
These are a moderately curated compilation (the full photostream is here). The photos below capture a snapshot of the 115 educators from 70 countries, and the over 700 participants ranging from teachers to school leaders to government officials. The diversity of projects is fascinating. The engaged collaboration that is happening from a common bond of wanting to teach students in the best possible way is humbling. The intensity of the time spent has made new and lasting friendships. The energy is difficult to ignore (see #PiLGF).
At that, I will leave it to the pictures. Keep an eye on #PiLGF.
