All in for a Rolling Thunder of Support for #WeSpeakCode!

If I can code, you can, too! Join me and learn – then help us spread the word.

We believe code is a language that everyone can learn and computational thinking is an important skill which should be taught in all schools. That is why Microsoft Asia Pacific is excited to once again be hosting #WeSpeakCode, 23-29 March, and this year we want to focus on sharing the fun even further.

We are working with other organizations across Asia Pacific to encourage everyone – whether you are a student, teacher or parent – to take your first steps into coding and discover just how easy and fun it can be.

Now you can help spread the message as well by joining our Thunderclap campaign. Built on a crowd-speaking platform, Thunderclap allows individuals or organizations to promote a social cause using the power of a crowd. Think of it as an online flash mob!

How does Thunderclap work? Simply, add your support to our campaign by allowing Thunderclap to share a single message on your Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr news feed on Wednesday, 25 March. Your tweet or post, along with those of all other supporters, will create a rolling thunder of attention focused on the importance of learning to code. Once the campaign is over, ThunderClap won’t post any additional messages on your social media news feed.

What are you waiting for? Join our YouthSpark #WeSpeakCode Thunderclap campaign today!
