The EDGE becomes the center

I have been out speaking to customers and architecting real Web 2.0 Enterprises the last week so haven't been blogging. I have however learnt a lot about the nuts, bolts and issues of architecting Web 2.0 and Edge based systems (e.g. how do you feed ad based revenue streams into a ERP system?) and will be writing more about these in future blogs. It has certainly been interesting to get away from the analyst and pundits discussion and do real architecture again. It has also been frightening how much changes for the Enterprise in the new world...

In the meantime the discussion has been continuing and Neil has been kind enough to send me the link to this paper by Hagel which I found really interesting and paralleled a lot of my thinking.
