What is it?

For customers looking to implement a private cloud strategy, Microsoft provides all of the necessary elements — including an interoperable server, virtualization, management and security capabilities — through Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V and Microsoft System Center. Today, Microsoft is announcing Hyper-V Cloud, a set of programs and initiatives to help customers and partners accelerate the deployment of private clouds.
