Windows MDOP Update 7-3-08! Worldwide Partner Conference is coming!

The MDOP PMG has been busy, and there’s no sign of us slowing down. Here’s some recent coverage of our activities, as well as a heads up on our upcoming events. Enjoy!

MDOP In The Spotlight:

The MDOP team made quite a splash at the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2008 conference in Orlando, which just ended on June 13, 2008. Here are just a few of the highlights:

Windows IT Pro highlights the Keynote speech given by Microsoft Senior Vice President Bob Muglia. In it, Bob demoed the newest member of the MDOP offering, Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization--formerly Kidaro. You can find a video of the keynote here, and if you skip to min 55, you’ll see none other than MDOP Product Management Group's own Jameel Khalfan on stage demoing the Kidaro acquisition! Way to go Jameel!

Redmond Channel Partner Online,  Bink.nu Scott Lowe's Blog, and Redmond Developer News also had excellent coverage of the event.

 Upcoming MDOP News:

The MDOP team is gearing up for the Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Houston, Texas. Heading out this year will be Jameel Khalfan (of TechEd keynote demo fame). Jameel will be giving a series of presentations as well as working our booth. Make sure you stop by to learn about our products or just to say hi!
