SQL Server Management Studio 2005 on IA64 shuts down

Problem description
SQL Server Management Studio 2005 on IA64 crashs when you click on "New Query" button. It shuts down Management Studio automatically.
This issue arrive when you are on Windows 20003 IA64 and SQL Server 2005 IA 64

Another symptom is that when you attach the debugger Windbg, the issue doesn't occur.

This issue occurs just after installing the Security Update from KB 928365 for the .NET Framework 2.0.

Solution
You can uninstalled the Security Update from KB 928365 for the .NET Framework 2.0 and apply Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (IA64). After this the management Studio will work properly.

Description
SQL Server Management Studio 2005 sur IA64 crash quand vous cliquez sur le bouton "Nouvelle Requête". Management Studio se ferme automatiquement sans message d'erreur.
Ce problème arrive uniquement sur un environnement Windows 20003 IA64 avec SQL Server 2005 IA 64

Un autre symptôme est que si vous attachez le débuggeur Windbg au process Management Studio, le problème ne se reproduit pas.

Ce comportement apparait juste après avoir installé la mise à jour de sécurité de l'article KB 928365 pour la .NET Framework 2.0.

Solution
Vous pouvez désinstaller cette mise à jour de sécurité de l'article KB 928365 pour la .NET Framework 2.0. Puis en appliquant le Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (IA64). Après ca, management Studio fonctionnera correctement.

SQL Server Management Studio 2005 en IA64 crashs al hacer clic en "Nueva Consulta" botón. Se apaga automáticamente Management Studio. Este problema llega cuando se está en 20003 IA64 Windows y SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition 64 IA SP2

Otro síntoma es que cuando se conecte el depurador WinDbg, el problema no se produce.

Solución
Puede desinstalar la actualización de seguridad de KB 928365 para NET Framework 2.0 y aplicar Microsoft. NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (IA64). Después de esto Management Studio funcione correctamente.
