System Center Capacity Planner 2007 Beta 1 is released

SCCP 2007 Beta 1 is now available for download. SCCP 2007 builds on the great capabilities of SCCP 2006 with support for:

  • Exchange 2007 deployments, including clustering (LCR, CCR)
  • System Center Operations Manager 2007
  • 64 Bit hardware

These are just some of the new features, SCCP 2007 is shaping up to be a great asset for the design and deployment of Exchange and SCOM. I would reccomend that you have a look at what it can do. Its a great tool for enabling you to design and plan your deployment by plugging in what you know about your environment in terms of your network, your users and your infrastrcuture. I've used SCCP 2006 for several Exchange 2003 deployments and it can save you a lot of time and trouble in the design and planning phase. It's also great for enabling you to model what-if scenarios in your existing infrastructure.
