The new center provides Exchange admins and other IT professionals with all the resources needed to be successful with Exchange Server. For the 2010 launch, the new center features easy access to the Exchange 2010 bits, a dedicated TechNet forum for Exchange 2010, key downloads like the Exchange 2010 Deployment Assistant, Exchange MVPs, Exchange 2010 videos and webcasts, community launch events, and more. The new center also improves the way TechNet delivers on three of its five core customer scenarios: Help Me, Connect me with People, Get the Download I Need, Connect me to the Product, and Keep me Smart. The new center was launched simultaneously in English +10 international languages across the worldwide TechNet network.
- Online Help: With Exchange 2010, <F1> help from the Exchange Management Console opens the Exchange Server technical library on TechNet, featuring lightweight mode and tabbed access to the TechCenter.
- Center-scoped search: Improves discoverability with pre-scoped Bing-powered site searches that focus on Exchange-specific resources such as the TechCenter, library, forums, blogs, and more.
- New look-and feel: Improves readability, discoverability, and overall usability with new features like the Headline Rotator (for important news and announcements) and the Resources control (quick access to top technical resources), fixed-width pages, larger font, and new CSS.
Connect me with People
Exchange Team News: Creates a direct connection between customers and the Exchange team by surfacing new technical articles from the product group. Customer comments will be enabled later this month. This experience was initially offered on the off-platform EHLO blog, but content is being migrated to the new Exchange center, consolidating technical content and the user experience.
